The files here contain the calibration data for the current production of the EVKs. The calibration is a direct XYZ calibration. Data from a Golden Device is used as calibration matrix, as a compromise between accuracy and effort.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
An individual calibration is always more accurate than using a matrix for a lot!
The Golden Device method with balancing, i.e. adapting the behavior of the RAW data to the
the Golden Device is a good compromise.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In order for the present EVK to use this Golden Device matrix:

1. the calibration data for the lot must be copied into the data installation folder.

2. offset and white balance must be corrected on a device-specific basis.

Execution point 1:

- Copy all data of this directory after software installation into the data directory C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\ams-OSRAM\AS7343 EvalSw Reflection\.
- Attention: the 'xxx" in the file path must be overwritten by your own 'user'
- Attention: when copying the original files of the installation will be overwritten
- Connect the sensor and start the program 'AS7343 EvalSw Reflection'
- in the base window of the GUI you can execute 'EEPROM' commands by pressing the right mouse button, by using 'Initialize EEPROM' or by using the key combination Ctrl+E the data stored in the EEPROM will be deleted from the installation and the copied data will be read from the data directory into the EEPROM
- a successful copying of the correction data into the EEPROM as a user message indicates the success of the re-reading process

Execution point 2:
- Activate the 'Reflection' application, the LED is activated, the LED current is defined and the Max limits for the ADC parameters are set.
- Place the sensor in DARK (dark room without a reflecting body in front of the sensor)
- Trigger a measurement to measure the direct reflection of the LED on the sensor in the adapter - this must be corrected internally as an individual source of error and offset in measurements. Use the key combination CTRL+O to define the measured values as offset.
- Place the sensor on a white sample and trigger a measurement. Use the key combination CTRL+B to define the measured values as white balance.

The corect data is now defined on the Golden Device Matrix with individual offset and balancing. When exiting the 'Reflection' function, the data is written to EEPROM and always used thereafter. With the key combination 'Ctrl+W' all files can also be resaved to disk.
